We even have a module that displays all the tags like a menu - thus giving you muliple options on how to link your content together.Tagging basically creates unlimited categories for you to use! Once a tag is clicked on the frontend, a new page loads. This could be a "blog" (One after the other) style, a table style or even a CUSTOM SYTLE (Yes the component is extensible!!) This page will show all the other content also assigned to that tag allowing the user to click forward to related articles. (Thats right - you can think of tagging like "relating" articles together).
